CALLS Network

Local Solidarity Groups
Local Solidary Groups are small local teams, circles or clubs of members from all walks of life, who feel concerned by the humanitarian crisis and its impact on refugees and are united in their shared belief in our common humanity and in solidarity.
LSGs promote refugee agency in humanitarian action and co-create public spaces in European countries for solidarity with refugees in the Global South by:
-
creating safe spaces to exchange and learn about humanitarian action and how its challenges affect us all,
-
giving visibility to RLOs in the Global South and communicating on their initiatives,
-
raising awareness on one of the most important global issues of our time
-
supporting partner RLO(s) and refugee leadership in the Global South with expertise and technical skills,
-
raising critical funds to support refugee-led initiatives by women, youth and persons with disabilities in particular, and community resilience in exile,
-
developing diverse partnerships that support the activities of the LSG.
