CALLS Local Solidarity Groups are looking for volunteers who

• Feel an urge to support refugees in the Global South

• Have a desire to achieve impact and for refugees

• Are committed to community agency

• Are ready and available to volunteer time and expertise

and

• Are able to get on well with people, are comfortable with disagreement and ask questions positively

• Are empowering to and inclusive of others

• Are able to learn about the issues and from their actions

• Are flexible to adapt to changes and actively make space for innovation in their approaches

• Are able to work well independently and in a team

• Are good communicators

• Having experience with local fundraising, event organisation, community mobilization and organisation is a plus

and most importantly, can do all this with playfulness!
